Today's News: Our Take - Demi Lovato Returning to The X Factor

There will be at least two familiar faces on the X Factor judges panel when the show returns for a third season. Demi Lovato has signed on for another year with the reality singing competition, Fox announced Thursday.

Lovato will join Simon Cowell at the judges' table, though Season 2 judges L.A. Reid and Britney Spears have both announced that they'll be leaving the show.

"I couldn't be happier that Demi wants to come back this year," Cowell said in a statement. "She's a superstar in her own right and was a fantastic mentor last year. Even though she can be really, really annoying, I truly enjoyed working with her and so did the artists."
