Obituary: Evadean Railey Overton

Evadean Railey Overton, age 89, of Washington and Carrier Mills passed away at 10:45 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2015 in the Carrier Mills Nursing & Rehab Center.

She was born September 23, 1925, in Saline County to the late Grover D. Railey and Pheba (Wade) Railey.

On May 28, 1955 she married Clement "Clem" Overton and he preceded her in death on May 26, 2008.

She retired from Walgreens in northern Illinois.

Evadean was a member of the Main St. Church of God in Carrier Mills, graduated from the Carrier Mills High School and later attended Harco Bible Studies

She is survived by nieces; Starla Berkley and Teri Sue Pratt, nephews; John Railey, Jack Railey, and Eddie Railey all of northern Illinois.

In addition to her parents and husband; Clem, she was preceded by brothers; Eldon, Kenneth, Wade and Gordon along with her nephew Jay Dee Railey.

Graveside services preceded burial at 10 a.m. Monday, June 22, 2015 in the Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills officiated by the Rev. Ron Trout.
