Today's News: Our Take - Orphan Black's Tatiana Maslany Lands Love Interest Gig on Parks and Recreation

There will be even more Tatiana Maslany on TV this year!

The Orphan Black star, who plays multiple clones on the hit BBC America series, has landed a two-episode arc on Parks and Recreation , according to The Hollywood Reporter .

Maslany will play a love interest for Tom Haverford (Aziz Ansari) - yes, you read that right. Further details on her role were unavailable, but wouldn't it be awesome if her character was secretly the mysterious person who tried to buy Tom's Rent-a-Swag business last season who now plays to open a competing business?

"When we decided to do that mysterious businessman story last year, we had an idea of who it would be and that is the idea we ended up going with," executive producer Mike Schur recently told TVGuide.com. "I don't want to say whether it's a recurring character or a new character, but what I like about the way we decided to go with it is that it makes perfect sense."

Regardless, given Tom's penchant for dating crazies - see Mona Lisa (Jenny Slate) - here's hoping Maslany's Parks character will be more like one of her more colorful Orphan Black characters, religious nutjob Helena.

Parks and Recreation returns for Season 6 on Thursday, Sept. 26 on NBC.
