The Mindy Project Casts Social Network Alum as Danny's Brother

Get ready to meet Dr. Danny's baby bro!

The Social Network 's Max Minghella has been cast as Richie Castellano, the younger brother of Danny (Chris Messina) on The Mindy Project , TVGuide.com has confirmed.

Series star and creator Mindy Kaling broke the news on her Instagram account Monday when she posted two pictures of the TV siblings.

Richie is just the latest sibling fans will get to meet. Last season, Dr. Mindy's little brother, college student-turned-aspiring rapper Rishi (Utkarsh Ambudkar), appeared in multiple episodes. In Tuesday's episode (9:30/8:30c on Fox), Lost 's Alan Dale will guest-star as Jeremy's dad.

In addition to his role in The Social Network, Minghella most recently co-starred in The Internship .
