Monster trucks take over the Southern Illinois Center for three shows this weekend

Ready for some monster-sized fun? Bring your biggest appetite for excitement to the Southern Illinois Center tonight or Saturday for the Monster Night Out!

The return of Bigfoot to the only arena in Southern Illinois big enough to handle the picnic of power is only the beginning of the weekend.

There will be the monster money booth whee you'll grab handfuls of cash from a swirling cash tornado called The Cashnado! Plus, you can see the trucks up close at the Pit Party and meet the drivers.

There will be over 60,000 pounds of monster truck thunder including the Lucas Oil Bigfoot, the original monster truck, the Raminator, the Rammunition hemi, the War Wizard No. 2, Samson and Predator.

The pit party is free and will feature country music entertainer Brandon Maddox, who will perform live.

You can even take a ride in one of the monster trucks.

Tonight's show is at 7:30 p.m. with the pit party from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.

There are two shows on Saturday, the first at 1 p.m. with the pit party from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and the second show at 7:30 p.m. with the pit party from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.

Tickets are $17. All seats are general admission.
