Harrisburg man accused of stabbing stepfather to death
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[A Harrisburg man is jailed and accused of the stabbing death of his stepfather.
Following an interview, Illinois State Police investigator Bryan Harms arrested Charles Rayburn Ryan, 41, 1304 W. Barnett St., Harrisburg, 7:45 a.m. Dec. 24 on a charge of murder. He remains held at the Saline County Detention Center on $100,000 cash bond.
Ryan is accused of stabbing to death his stepfather Carl L. Crouch, 59, who also lived at 1304 W. Barnett St., according to court documents.
Crouch was found in the home 9 p.m. Dec. 23 and had suffered several apparent stab wounds, according to court documents.
Harms interviewed Ryan 4 a.m. Dec. 24.
