Two hurt in Eldorado-area crash

Two Eldorado residents received minor injuries when their vehicles met 8:10 a.m. Thursday on U.S. Route 45 at Gandertown Road about 3 miles north of Eldorado.

According to a release from Illinois State Police William Seth Dunn Seets, 28, Eldorado, was driving a car south on U.S. Route 45 at Gandertown Road when for unknown reasons, crossed into the northbound lane and struck a car driven Andrea M. Clark, 28, Eldorado.

Both drivers were transported by ambulance to Ferrell Hospital where they were treated and released.

Dunn-Seets was cited on a charge of improper lane usage, according to the release.
