</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Rodney Dale Irvin, 43, of McLeansboro, died 12:18 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008, at DePaul Health Center, Bridgeton, Mo.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008, at First General Baptist Church in McLeansboro with the Rev. Ken Cook officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Hill Cemetery near Walpole. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2008, at the church and 10 a.m. to service time Wednesday at the church. Arrangements are in the charge of Gholson Funeral Home, McLeansboro.

He is survived by his parents; wife, Terrie Ellis Irvin; three children; two brothers; a sister; six nieces; and five nephews.
