Rose Moore

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Rose Moore, 83, of Galatia, died 9:26 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Galatia.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5, 2008, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Harrisburg with Father Ignatius Okonkwo officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, at Gaskins-Jones Funeral Home, Harrisburg.

She was born Jan. 16, 1925, in Chicago to John and Eva (Jurcebich) Marasovich. In 1946, she married Carl Moore, who preceded her in death on May 15, 1991.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Harrisburg.

She is survived by three sons, John Moore of Galatia, Donald Moore of Whitewater, Mo. and Steve Moore of Galatia; seven grandchildren; three great-granddaughters; two brothers, Chris Marasovich and Steve Marasovich, both of Orland Park; and a sister, Lucy Sebcick of Aurora.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Ann Wolski.
