Ola Green

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Ola Green, 97, of West End, passed away Tuesday morning, Oct. 14, 2008, at her residence.

She was born June 14, 1911, in Wayne County To William Davis and Alice (Myers) Davis. She was married to Alonzo Green, who precedes.

She is survived by six daughters, Mary Baker, Norma (Roy) Wece, Vivian (Jim) Lee, Goldie (Jess) Parks, Alice (Luke) Dunn and Ladonna Green; three sons, Mike (Becky) Green, Sonny and Kenny Green; 33 grandchildren; several great-, great-great- and two great-great-great-grandchildren; and also a devoted friend and neighbor, Bill Julian.

She was preceded by her parents; husband; two sons, John and Charles Green; a daughter, Ester Mae Green; and two sisters, Lola Green and Nola Cates.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008 at the Sloan Funeral Home, Galatia. Visitation will be 11 a.m. Saturday until the service. The Rev. Bill Jones is officiating. Burial will be at the Shrewsbury Cemetery in Mill Shoals.

Donations may be made to the family and left at the funeral home.
