Randall Keith Thompson

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Randall Keith Thompson, 50, died Dec. 4, 2008, as a result of a car accident in Eugene, Ore.

Randy was known to his grandkids as "Poppa" and to many of his friends as "Rock." Randy graduated from Eldorado High School in 1976 and worked most of his life as a union pipe fitter in Texas and Oregon. Randy loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating.

Randy was preceded in death by his mother, Pat Thompson, in 1981; and his father, Bill Thompson, in 1996.

Surviving is his wife, Sher of Eugene, Ore.; his children, Brittney Ralston of Eldorado, Ronnie Campbell (Julie) of Aloha, Ore., and Rick Campbell (Heidi) of North Plains, Ore.; his sisters, Hazel Jackson (Mike) of Henderson, Nev., and Dana Brewer of Marion; his brothers, Eric Thompson of Las Vegas, Nev., Dan Brewer (Janice) of Marion and Dave Brewer (Chris) of Marion; and his stepmother, Sondra Thompson of Eldorado.

In addition, Randy left six grandchildren, Evan, Taylor, Tyler, Kyle, McKenna and Cole; five nephews, Alexander, Jesse, Jaret, Clint, and Dustin; many extended family members; and a wealth of friends.

A memorial service will be held in Forest Grove, Ore., on Jan. 3, 2009.
