James Gordon Cinkovich

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mr. James Gordon Cinkovich, 65, of Eldorado, passed away at 3:58 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2009, at Ferrell Hospital.

He was the husband of Cheri Colleen (Wyant) Cinkovich.

Jim was born in Elizabethtown on Feb. 13, 1944, the son of the late Frank J. and Lottie L. (Cook) Cinkovich.

He and his wife attended the Equality Full Gospel Church where he served as the guitar player.

Before retirement he worked as a truck driver at George Reeder Trucking and had been employed by Peabody previously.

Jim is survived by three sons Jimmy (Christina) Cinkovich of Marion, Ky., Tony (Angie) Cinkovich of Cave-In-Rock, Michael (Amanda) Neal of West Frankfort; and a daughter, Brooke (Billy) Carlton of Galatia.

He is also survived by six grandchildren, Ashley Cinkovich, Morgan R. Cinkovich, Morgan T. Cinkovich, Hannah Carlton, Emily Carlton and Madison Neal; and two nephews, William Dennis Suits and Joseph David Suits. James is also survived by a sister, Dorothy Suits (Raymond) Oglesbee of Smyrna, Tenn.

Funeral services will be held at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home, Eldorado, at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2009, with the Rev. Jimmy "Duke" Williams officiating. Burial will be in Central Cemetery in Elizabethtown. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2009, at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Equality Full Gospel Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
