</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Jo Ann Johnson, 77, Eldorado, died 10:37 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Galatia.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2009, at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado with the Rev. Roy Dale Orr officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2009, at the funeral home.

She was born Sept. 2, 1931, in Eldorado to Raphael and Helen (Burns) Johnson. She was the widow of Joe Arthur Johnson. They were married on March 24, 1949, and he preceded her in death on March 7, 1995.

She was a cook at Ferrell Hospital and worked at Food Center in the bakery. She was a member of Star General Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Jack (Johnna) Johnson and David (Deb) Johnson, both of Eldorado; four grandchildren, Luke Johnson of Eldorado, Tiffany Johnson of Herrin and Krista (Casey) Teckenbrock of Herrin and Bryan Ledford; three great-grandchildren, Dylan, Nick and Ali Teckenbrock of Herrin; two brothers, John (Peggy) Johnson of West Frankfort and Ralph (Bud) Adams of Van Buren, Ark.; and a sister, Marsha (David) Wooley of Almo, Ark.
