</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Rema Summers, 74, 909 Lincoln St., Eldorado, died Tuesday, May 5, 2009.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, May 9, 2009, at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado with the Rev. Steve Dunning officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Cottonwood. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2009, at the funeral home.

She was born July 17, 1934, in Wartburg, Tenn., to John Raymond and Rosa Mae (Hamby) Freels. On Oct. 12, 1952, she married James Summers, who survives in Eldorado.

She was a homemaker.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four sons, James, Larry, Tony and Donald (Kathy) Summers, all of Eldorado; four daughters, Rosemary (James) Daily of Eldorado, Tammy Dunning of Marion, Karen (Rance) Carter of Princeton, Ind., and Teresa (Wade) Abell of Eldorado; a brother, Robert (Brenda) Freels of Lenior City, Tenn.; 29 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and Gary Freels; and a sister, Violet Wilson.
