</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Bobbie Gene Wilson, 81, of 4740 Raleigh Road, Eldorado, died 6 a.m. Monday, May 25, 2009, at his residence.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, May 28, 2009, at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at Watson Funeral Home.
He was born June 20, 1927, to the late Rollie and Lura Mae (Booten) Wilson. On Dec. 26, 1949, he married Roma Lee Mathias, and they would have been married 60 years in December.
He was a retired car salesman for Buddy Pool Motors. He was Navy veteran.
He lived here for 41 years, coming from Greenhill Road, Eldorado. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Eldorado, a 69-year veteran of the American Legion Eldorado Post No. 169 and the Saline County Farm Bureau. He worked for Buddy Pool Motors for 49 years and 8 months and received many sales awards during his career. He started selling cars for Kenneth Cox in Eldorado; he also sold for Dick Martin and Jim McGill.
He is survived by his wife, Roma Lee (Mathias) Wilson of Eldorado; two sons, Rickie Gene (Kelly) Wilson of Eldorado and Eric Dee (Theresa) Wilson of Harrisburg; a daughter, Dayna Lee (Wilson) Frey and Frank Frey of Dahlgren; six grandchildren, Jordan Frey, Keri Younger, Courtney Wilson, Jessica Wilson, Erica Davis and Garrett Mahan; and a great-grandchild, Briley Karnes.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jack Sullivan; and a grandchild, Dylan James Frey.
