Thelma Rae Feazel
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Thelma Rae Feazel, 86, of Harrisburg went to be with the Lord Friday June 12, 2009, while surrounded by her family.
She was born Feb. 2, 1923, to the late Dan and Della (Duncan) Butler.
Thelma worked most of her life caring for other people. She was a great mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She worked as a licensed practical nurse and was employed at Harrisburg Hospital, Lightner Hospital, Harrisburg Medical Center and Ferrell Hospital.
She was a proud Christian and a charter member of the Emmanuel General Baptist Church in Eldorado. Everyone that knew her knew she was a wonderful, fun, loving, and a beautiful person inside and out. She will be sadly missed. The world will not be the same without her.
She is survived by four children, Bea Sue (Gary) Smith of Harrisburg, Darlene (Bob) Baggott of Harrisburg, J.B. (Debbie) Burroughs of Harrisburg and Roger (Lisa) Burroughs of Georgia. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Darla Little of Harrisburg, Libby Basden of Harrisburg, Rodney Burroughs of Harrisburg, Darin Burroughs of Harrisburg, Jimmy Burroughs of Harrisburg, Lori (Davy) Jones of Harrisburg, Dee Dee (John) Gwaltney of Eldorado, J.R (Gracita) Baggott of Pensacola, Fla., Angie Williams of Saltillo, Miss., Kathy (Bubba) Jackson of Saltillo, Miss., Jamie Villalon of Marion and Jason (Amber) Burroughs of Hiram, Ga. She is also survived by 32 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Herbert Butler, Jonnah Butler and George Butler; two sisters, Nell Dowdy and her twin Velma Moore; her first husband, James R. Burroughs; great-grandchild, Ashley Dawn Little; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with the Rev. Charles Curry officiating. Burial will be in Butler Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday June 15, 2009, at the funeral home.
