Frank Andrew Santy

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Frank Andrew Santy, 73, of Fishers, Ind., passed away peacefully Aug. 14, 2009, after an extensive and courageous battle with cancer.

He was born on March 10, 1936, in Harrisburg. He married the love of his life, Marlena Santy, on Sept. 2, 1960. They shared 48 happy years together. He was self-employed as a general contractor, which brought him much joy in custom building homes for families and friends.

Frank Santy is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Marlena Santy; his daughter, LeAnna Dawn Santy, wife of Anthony D'Orio; his mother, Wilma Alice Santy (Maynard); brothers, Randall Santy and Michael Maynard and his sister, Deborah Maynard (Kohl); his nieces and nephews, Cheryl Santy (Austgsen), Steven Santy, Shannon Lynn Kohl and Nathan Andrew Kohl.

Frank was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Santy; son, William David; brother, Larry Gene Maynard; and nephew, David Santy.

Frank touched the lives of everyone he met. He was a passionate Colts football fan and especially enjoyed spending time with his family and sharing time with his friends and best fishing buddy, Luke Andrew Fisher. He was much loved and will be tremendously missed.

Memorial services will be at noon on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009, at Harry W. Moore Funeral Care with visitation from 11 a.m. to noon.

The family requests no flowers be sent to the chapel.
