Jerry Lee Edmondson

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Jerry Lee Edmondson, 53, a resident of Miller Street, Carrier Mills, died 10:10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, at his residence.

He was born May 3, 1956, in Harrisburg to Gerald and Colleen (Kassner) Edmondson.

He was a former Sahara Coal miner.

He is survived by his parents, Gerald and Colleen Edmondson in Carrier Mills; a brother, Richard (Debbie) Edmondson of Creal Springs; a niece, Amanda (Kyle) Avery of Herrin; a nephew, Jason Edmondson of Creal Springs; and a great-nephew, Max Avery of Herrin.

Visitation is 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, with services at 11 a.m. Saturday at Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Harl Cockrum officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.
