Aileen Reynolds
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Aileen Reynolds was born to Charles and Emma (Baker) Reynolds on April 16, 1913. She died Feb. 9, 2010, in the Harrisburg Medical Center at the age of 96.
She was a graduate of Harrisburg Township High School in the class of 1931. She attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, where she received a bachelor's degree in education. She attended Wayne State University in Detroit, Mich., where she received a master's degree.
She retired from teaching in 1978 after 45 years, including 12 years in Illinois and 33 years in Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and a brother.
She is survived by two nieces, Judy Williams and Jeanne Clark; and a nephew, Charles Reynolds. She is also survived by three great-nephews and three great-nieces.
She was a lifetime member of Associates of Michigan Christian College. She was a member of the Harrisburg Medical Center auxiliary for 17 years. Also, she was a member of Golden Circle. She was a member of the Harrisburg Church of Christ.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 12, 2010, at Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia. Bob Coburn will be officiating. Burial will be in Brushy Cemetery. Visitation is 9 a.m. to the funeral hour Friday.
