Betty L. Pepper
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Betty L. Pepper, 43, of Old Shawneetown, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 7, 2010, after an extended illness.
Betty was born on May 25, 1966, in Henderson, Ky., to Roy F. "Joe" and Ruby (Sharp) Bolton. Betty fought her illness for many years very courageously. She was a homemaker and had been raised in the Pentecostal faith. She always thought about everyone else first before herself. She was a good mother, wife, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed.
Betty is survived by three children -- son, Isaac Dean Thrasher; two daughters, Rebakah Jo Thrasher and Sarah Cheyenne Pepper, all of Shawneetown; her mother, Ruby (Sharp) Bolton of Shawneetown; two brothers, Jim (Jean) Bolton and Roy Bolton of Shawneetown; and one sister, Debra Hall of Lebanon, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Pepper; and her father, Roy Bolton.
Visitation for Betty were held 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 9, 2010, at the Cox and Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown. Funeral services for Betty were held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 10, 2010, at the Cox and Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown. The Rev. Ruth Harris will officiate. Interment will be in the Westwood Cemetery.
