Peggy L. Gulledge
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Peggy L. Gulledge, 81, Galatia, passed away at 1:44 p.m. Friday, April 23, 2010, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
She was born Sept. 5, 1928, to the late Frank and Anna Davidson. On March 16, 1946, she married D.L. Gulledge Sr., and he preceded her in death on Aug. 5, 1990.
Peggy is survived by a son, Daniel L. Gulledge Jr. of Galatia; two grandchildren, Cheryl (Mike) Bell of Mt. Juliet, Tenn. and Bill Gulledge of Galatia. She also has four great-grandchildren, Christina and Dakota Mitchell of Galatia and Jacob and Megan Bell of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded by three sisters, Lena Gauger, Lee Abney and Faye Orr; and a brother, Frank Davidson. She is also survived by a host of very loving nieces and nephews.
For all who knew Peggy, she was a wonderful mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, and she will forever be missed and loved.
Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 25, 2010, at the Brushy Cemetery in Harco. Kenny Orr officiated. Memorials to the Brushy Cemetery.
