Sammie L. Green

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Sammie L. Green, 63, of Carrier Mills, passed away at her home at 6 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2010.

She was born on April 18, 1947, in Lamont, Miss., to Eugene and Polly (Minor) Walker. Sammie married Victor D. Green on April 21, 1982.

She was a member of the Harvest Deliverance Center in Harrisburg.

Mrs. Green is survived by her husband, Victor D. Green of Carrier Mills; three sons, Keith, Kevin and Karl Armstrong, all of Kankakee; one sister, Helen Kellum of Detroit, Mich.; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Kenny Armstrong; and one sister, Cleaster Martin.

Visitation for Sammie will be held from noon to service time at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2010, at the Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. The Rev. Ownly Williams will be officiating with burial at Lake View Cemetery near Carrier Mills.
