</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Michael D. Cowper, 41, of Carrier Mills, died 10 a.m. Monday, June 14, 2010, at Harrisburg Medical Center.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 19, 2010, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Terry Taborn officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Visitation is 10 a.m. to service time Saturday at the funeral home.

He was born on April 15, 1969, in Harrisburg to Clifford and the late Shirley (Jones) Cowper.

He graduated Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School in 1987. Michael enjoyed fishing, golf, baseball and all sports.

He attended Landmark House of Praise in Carrier Mills.

He is survived by his father, Clifford Cowper of Carrier Mills; son, Jerrence Cowper of Rantoul; brother, Josh Cowper of Carrier Mills; three sisters, Andrew Cowper and Rachel Cowper, both of Alexandria, Va. and Toni Cowper of Alton; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Cowper.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
