Sharlene (Gormley) Knight
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Sharlene (Gormley) Knight, 64, Thompsonville, died Friday, June 18, 2010, at Barnes Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.
She was born Oct. 7, 1945 in Butts, Mo., to the late Harold and Wilma (Lambert) Gormley.
Sharlene was a member of the First Baptist Church of Thompsonville, a member of the American Quilters Society and she loved gardening and dancing. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Sharlene is survived by two sons, Mark (Stephanie) Knight of Norris City and Jason (Mariah) Knight of Thompsonville; five grandchildren, Justin, Jolie, Savannah, Aubrey and Hayden; a special friend, Jim Gross; a brother, James (Brenda) Gormley of Calvert City, Ky.; a sister-in-law, Lois Mitchell of Lowell, Ind.; and two sisters, Janet (Joe) Irvin of Harrisburg and Rita Carlton of Moberly, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at Watson Funeral Home with the Rev. John Robinson and the Rev. Ernie Essary officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2010, at Watson Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Thompsonville or American Cancer Society.
