James W. 'Jargo' Brazier

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[James W. "Jargo" Brazier, 68, of Florida, formerly of Harvard, died Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at Hospice of Northeastern Illinois Inpatient Unit in Woodstock.

He was born Aug. 26, 1941, in Shawneetown to Lloyd and Belva (Clanton) Brazier. He married Marcia Staab on Feb. 28, 1964, in Harvard.

He was a member of Road Construction Union No. 681. He was a member of Harvard Moose and the Bradenton Shuffleboard Club, was a pro shuffler, played basketball in high school and college, liked to watch sports, was always working on something and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Marcia; a daughter, Tammy Creviston of Harvard; a son, Randy Brazier of Hoffman Estates; his grandchildren, Marissa Creviston and Sammy and Alexia Brazier; a brother, Dean Brazier of Viroqua, Wis.; and a sister, Donna Antonsen of Harvard.

Remaining family left in Shawneetown are Danny Brazier, Bob and Jan Brazier and Betty and Ray Withrow of Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation was from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, June 26, 2010, with a memorial service at 7 p.m. June 26 at Saunders and McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard. The Rev. Robert Brown officiated.
