</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Scotty Lee Cannon, 39, Walnut Hill, formerly of McLeansboro, died 2:45 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, at his residence.

Services will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010, at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Steve Shultz officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation is 5 p.m. to service time Thursday at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, the former Wendy Palmer; a son; a daughter; his parents; and three brothers and sisters.
