</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Edward L. Rost, 92, McLeansboro, died 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, at Hamilton Memorial Nursing Center, McLeansboro.

A funeral Mass will be said 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 15, 2010, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Piopolis with Msgr. Joseph Lawler and the Rev. Slawomir Ptek officiating. Burial will be in St. Johns Cemetery with graveside military rites by American Legion Post No. 106 of McLeansboro. Visitation is 4 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010, at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with a Rosary at 7 p.m.

He is survived by four sisters and several nieces and nephews.
