Mary M. Taylor
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mary M. Taylor, 78, of Raleigh, passed away at 5 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Galatia.
She was born on March 5, 1932, in Cobden to Ray Henry and Suda (Evans) Rosenthal. She married William Taylor on Dec. 22 1981, at the Union Grove Baptist Church. Mary worked at a waitress for the Holiday Inn in Muddy and Mount Vernon for 30 years before retiring.
She is survived by her husband, William of Raleigh; a daughter, Sandra Kay (Dale) Leneave of Eldorado; two stepdaughters, Debra Sue Taylor and Sheila Jane Cannimore, both of Raleigh; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two brothers, John Rosenthal of Coulterville and Kenneth Rosenthal of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, William Joseph Sinks and Herman Gale Sinks; and two brothers, Ernest and Earl Glenn Rosenthal.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at the Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia with visitation 11 a.m. to the funeral hour of 1 p.m. The Rev. Randy Plunkett will officiate with burial in the Raleigh Masonic Cemetery.
