Sammie Lou Green

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Sammie Lou Green, 80, of Equality, passed away at 10:35 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011, at the Fountain View Nursing Home in Eldorado.

She was born in Equality on March 24, 1930, to the late Sam and Gladys (Williams) Cozart. Sammie was married to William H. Green, who preceded her in death on Sept. 15, 1996.

She is survived by her daughter, Dora Jane and Bob Campbell of Oxford, Ind.; her son, Ernest and Susan Upchurch of Belton, Tex.; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one sister, Martha Faye Payne; and one brother, Ernest Albert Cozart.

Visitation for Sammie will be held from noon until service time at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011, at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality. The Rev.
