James William Forbes III

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[James William Forbes III, 52, Eldorado, passed away at 8:35 a.m. Friday, Feb. 4, 2011, at his residence in Eldorado.

He was born on July 22, 1958, in Joliet to the late Charles Suits and Judith Ann (Cook) Suits.

Surviving family members include his mother, Judith Ann Suits of Carterville; son, James Edward Jackson of Marion; six sisters, LouAnn Taylor and husband Robert Michael of Carterville, Evelyn Jones and husband Dennis of Carterville, Janet Farthing and husband Forrest of Collinsville, Judy Jones of Bradenton, Fla. and Marilyn Griffin of Harrisburg; a brother, John Forbes and wife Marsha of Carterville; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather; and brother, Jodie W. Forbes.

Memorial graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011, at Maplewood Cemetery in Marion. Mike Taylor will officiate. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. Those wishing to attend should gather at the cemetery. There will be no visitation. Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg is in charge of arrangements.
