Obituary: Murry Lawyer

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Murry Lawyer Jr., 58, of Harrisburg passed away Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011, at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Galatia.

He was born in Saline Co. on Sept. 16, 1952 to Murry Sr. and Marjorie (Mullnax) Lawyer.

He was a member of the Dorrisville Baptist Church.

Surviving is a cousin and caregiver Janice Prosise and family of Dix; a cousin, Beverly McKay of Phoenix, Ariz.; friends of Kathryn Neal Apartments in Harrisburg and Dorrisville Baptist Church and family.

Murry knew a lot of the history of Harrisburg and area. He was always known for his care and concern for others. Murry was a Christian who loved the Lord dearly.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday Sept. 13, 2011, at the Webber Campground Cemetery in Galatia. The Rev. Dewayne Taylor will be officiating. Sloan Funeral Home of Galatia in charge of services.
