Obituary: Julia J. 'Judy' Fife

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Julia J. "Judy" Fife, 86, Carrier Mills, died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Mich.

She was born June 5, 1925, in Harrisburg to Larry Tedder and Lora Kline Tedder. She was married to Victor Duyane Fife for 65 years.

She was a retired beautician.

She is survived by her husband, Duyane; daughter, Victoria Fife Green of Clarkston, Mich.; a son, Dan (Jan) Fife of Clarkston, Mich.; a sister, Lucille Miller of Indiana; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; a sister; and a grandson.

Visitation is 10 a.m. to the service hour of noon Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011, at Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home, Carrier Mills. Lounita Mitchell will officiate. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.

The family prefers memorials to the Salem Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 823, Carrier Mills, Ill. 62917. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
