Obituary: Dorothy Wallace

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Dorothy Wallace, 91, of Galatia, formerly of the Pankeyville community, passed away 9:34 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011 at Harrisburg Medical Center.

She was born Aug. 12, 1920, in Harrisburg, the daughter of Ezra and Lilly Healy Shewmaker. She was married to Kimble "Tubby" Wallace, who preceded her in death on June 23, 2006.

Dorothy was a member of the Pankeyville Baptist Church.

She is survived by a nephew and two cousins and her caregivers, Bob and Brenda Hill of Harrisburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kimble; a brother, Norman; and two sisters, Delores Jones and Norma Shewmaker.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, at the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Nyburg officiating and burial in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
