Obituary: Vivian Hargrave Joyner

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Vivian Hargrave Joyner, 89, of Cumming, Ga., passed away Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Howard Joyner of Cumming, Ga.; daughter, Janet Williamson of Cumming, Ga.; son, Gary Joyner of Huntley; grandchildren, Scott Williamson of Atlanta, Ga., Kelly and Brian Gayton of Cumming, Ga.; and two great-grandchildren Chase and Shay Gayton.

Vivian, the daughter of George and Golden Sisk Hargrave, was born in Harrisburg and lived in Chicago for 38 years before retiring to Eldorado. She was a member of Eastern Star, serving many positions including Grand Adah and Grand Lecturer in Illinois. She will be truly missed and always remembered with love.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23, 2011 at the Georgia National Cemetery of Canton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in loving memory of Vivian to the Alzheimers Association, www.alz.org. Byars Funeral Home of Cumming, Ga., is in charge of arrangements.
