Obituary: Dora Alice Miller

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Dora Alice Miller, 84, of Crown Point, Ind., went to be with the Lord on Monday, Jan. 2, 2012.

Dora was born in Harrisburg on May 2, 1927. She attended Bethel Baptist Church in Crown Point, Ind. Dora was a former employee of Sears in the Westfield Mall.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gail A. Miller; and brothers, Albert, Irvin and Elwood.

She is survived by two sons, Gale A. (Elizabeth) Miller of Crown Point, Ind. and Richard K. (Donna) Miller of Hebron, Ind.; sisters-in-law, Muriel Harris of Eldorado and Zola Harris of Harrisburgl and many nieces and nephews; longtime dear friend and neighbor, Mary Jane Kerulis.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, at the Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, Ind., with her son Richard Miller officiating. Interment Memory Lane Cemetery, Schererville. Friends may visit with the family from 2 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, at the Burns Funeral Home.

Dora was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Memorials to Horton VNA Hospice Center, 2404 Valparaiso St., Valparaiso, Ind. 46383 would be appreciated.
