Obituary: Lisa Kay List McGill
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Lisa Kay List McGill, 44, of Anna, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Union County Hospital.
She was born in Rensselaer, Ind., on April 25, 1967, daughter of Sharon List and the late Edgar Dallas List. Lisa grew up in Rensselaer and graduated from Rensselaer Central High School with the class of 1985. She went on to attend Indiana State University and IVY Tech.
Lisa worked at Schumacher Electric Company and also for NIPSCO in security before moving to southern Illinois in 1999. Lisa enjoyed playing the piano, singing, and spending time with her family and friends. She was especially proud of her children. She will be remembered for her laughter and her smile.
Lisa is survived by her loving children, Shawn McGill and Alisha McGill of Harrisburg; husband, Scott McGill of Harrisburg; mother Sharon List of Rensselaer, Ind.; brother, John List of Orlando, Fla.; two sisters, Lori Burns (husband: Wally) of Greenwood, Ind. and Jennifer Duffey (husband: Patrick) of Monticello, Ind.
Lisa was preceded in death by: her father, Edgar Dallas List; her paternal grandparents, Edgar C. List and Lula Payne List; and her maternal grandparents, Alvin Lilley and Donola Green Lilley.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2012, at Steinke Funeral Home, 403 N. Front St., Rensselaer, Ind. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 9, 2012, with the Rev. Fred Nose officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Rensselaer. A memorial service for Lisa will be held in Anna at a later date. Memorial donations in Lisa's memory may be made to the family.
