Obituary: Violet Boisjolie

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Violet Boisjolie, 82, passed away Friday, March 16, 2012, at the Carrier Mills Nursing Home.

She was born in Clay County, near St. Francis, Ark., on Aug. 12, 1929, the daughter of the late Ezra and Rachel Orr Bryant. She was married to Irving Boisjolie who preceded her in death.

She is survived by one daughter, Cynthia Brumbaugh of Baird, Texas; two sons, Maurice (Terri) Boisjolie of Abilene, Texas and Joel Boisjolie Of Onamian, Minn.; two sisters, Lila Case of Shawneetown and Mollie (Ronnie) Cunningham of Delwood; two brothers, Leon (Sharon) Bryant of Junction and Donald (Verna Mae) Bryand of Harrisburg; also 17 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Irving Boisjolie; three sons, Vernon Belcher, Barry Boisjolie and Michael Boisjolie; two sisters, Roberta Maxine Stricklin and Gaytha Harrawood; and one brother Howard Bryant.

Graveside services will precede burial 2 p.m. Monday, March 19, 2012, at Elmwood Cemetery near Equality with the Rev. Bob Patton officiating. There will be no visitation and those attending should go directly to the cemetery. The J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home in Harrisburg is in charge of arrangements.
