Obituary: Barbara F. Hafford
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Barbara F. Hafford, 77, of Eldorado, died peacefully at her home on Saturday, May 26, 2012.
She was born in Harrisburg on March 24, 1935, to the late Taylor and Rosa (Rudd) Walters. She was married on July 22, 1950, to John David Hafford, who preceded her in death.
She was a precious mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She had a gentle and kind spirit that caused people to be drawn to her. Mom was a Christian singer and songwriter. She loved to bless those she loved and those she didn't know. She loved Jesus and prayed for her family daily. At the time of her death, she had been attending Our Father's House in Eldorado.
She is survived by a daughter, Pam and Bill Young from Eldorado; a son, Darrell and Diane Hafford from Harrisburg; a sister, Shirley Bennett of Arizona; five grandchildren, Brandy Young of Oro Valley, Ariz., Brent (Kelly) Young of Muskogee, Okla., Jeremy (Julie) Hafford of Kangaroo Flats, Australia, Jayson Hafford of Harrisburg and Jaime (Victor) Owens of Harrisburg; 12 great-grandchildren; and 16 nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded by three brothers, Ishmael, Lester and Ray Walters; and two sisters, Lorraine Dombroski and Gloria Hosking.
Barbara was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Barbara truly loved her Lord Jesus and her family and friends.
A celebration and of her life and homecoming will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2012. It will be held at Our Father's House in Eldorado on Mulberry Street. Sharon Gwaltney will be the celebrant and a dinner will follow the service.
