Lee Roy Mahaffey

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Lee Roy Mahaffey, 82, of 115 Mahaffey Road, Eldorado, died July 6, 2012, at his residence.

He was born on June 30, 1930, to the late Henry and Susie (Bowers) Mahaffey. On February 12, 1955, he married the former Norma I. Clark, and she preceded him in death on April 21, 1996.

He was a coal miner and a farmer and a veteran of the Marine Corps.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law George and Norma Mahaffey of Eldorado. And he is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday July 9, 2012, at the Watson Funeral Home with the Rev. Russell Helton officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery with military rites. Visitation will be held 9 a.m. Monday July 9, 2012, until service time.
