OBITUARY: Paul Melvin Sheff
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Paul Melvin Sheff, 65, of 7200 Battleford Road, Stonefort, died at 5:10 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Reid's Chapel Cemetery, south of Carrier Mills. Visitation will be held after 9 a.m. Saturday at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Father Tom Barrett will officiate.
He was born on June 29, 1947, in Alton, to the late Harold Melvin and Dorothy Agnes (Wright) Sheff.
He married Annie Gregg on Nov. 1, 1968.
He is survived by his wife Annie Sheff of Stonefort; son, Paul Sheff Jr. of Carrier Mills; two daughters, Dorothy Test of Vienna and Brenda (Robert) Workman of Harrisburg; seven grandchildren, Jacob Burrell, Matthew Burrell, Tresa Sheff, Haley Sheff, Haven Test, Jessica (Jake) Durfee and Kaylee Workman; one great-grandchild, Emily Durfee.
He was preceded in death by a son; Joe Sheff, and a granddaughter; Dakota Shoemaker.
