Obituary: Darrell Sullivan

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Darrell Sullivan, 58, 215 S. McKinley Ave., Harrisburg, died 12:03 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at Carrier Mills Nursing Home.

Darrell will be cremated as per his wishes. Graveside memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2011, at Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg. There will be no visitation; all friends should go directly to the cemetery. Pastor Earl Webb will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Highview Missionary Baptist Church. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills is in charge of arrangements.

He was born on July 10, 1952, in Harrisburg to the late Charles H. and Mary Maddeline (Long) Sullivan Sr. He married Janene Kibler on July 17, 1976, and she survives.

He worked at Astros Janitorial Services before becoming ill. He was also a member of the Highview Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Janene Sullivan of Harrisburg; son, Darrell Sullivan Jr. of Marion; three brothers, Dennis Sullivan of Carrier Mills, Stan Sullivan of Cape Girardeau, Mo. and Raymond Sullivan of Ohio; and two sisters, Janet Kennedy of Marion and Joyce Mugge of Harrisburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Charles H. Sullivan Jr.
