</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Wilma Johnston, 83, a former Eldorado resident, died Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009, at Jacksonville, Fla.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado with the Rev. Ron Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation is 11 a.m. to service time Saturday at the funeral home.

She was born June 10, 1926, in Old Shawneetown to J.W. and Lizzie (Edwards) Bishop. She married Joseph D. Johnston, who preceded her in death on Sept. 15, 2004.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Eldorado Church of God.

She is survived by a son, Danny L. (Glenda) Johnston of Evansville, Ind.; a daughter, Barbara Dawes of Jacksonville, Fla.; four grandchildren, Danny Joe (Marsha) Johnston of Eldorado, J.W. (Leslie) Johnston of Evansville, Ind., Geordy (Suzanne) Dawes of Knoxville, Tenn. and Sarah Dawes of Martin, Tenn.; and three great-grandchildren, Cody Johnston of Eldorado, Danielle Johnston of Evansville, Ind. and Lindsey Johnston of Evansville, Ind.
