St. Nicholas Brewing Co. begins area distribution

The popular St. Nicholas Brewing Company is making its craft brews available through wholesale distribution. Representatives of the local brewery announced that many of their beers will soon be sold at local bars and restaurants.

General Manager, Abby Ancell commented:

"There has been great demand from our regional customers to make our craft beer available on tap at other locations. We get asked about it almost every day."

Distributor Venegoni Distributing, Inc. will distribute beer by kegs to retailers in the region. All of the beer will be brewed in Du Quoin.

Brewmaster, James McCoy has scheduled the release of his 7/11 Blonde Ale, American Pale Ale, Scotch Strong Ale, Imperial IPA and Porter.

"We brew 12 beers at this time and it was difficult to choose which beer to distribute. I've tried to provide a wide spectrum of choices for the customer. It's hard to pick a favorite," McCoy said.

A special event will be held March 30, 2015 at the Hanger 9 in Carbondale. The "Tap Takeover" will feature many of the St. Nicholas beers. More information about this event will be available on the website of the St. Nicholas Brewing Company (stnicolasbrewco.com).
