Lukas Ryan Carmickle

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Lukas Ryan Carmickle, 2, passed from the loving arms of his parents into the peaceful sleep of Jesus on Saturday, April 16, 2011.

In what seemed to have been a twinkling of the eye, Lukas has given each of us a lifetime a gifts -- his love and joy, his sweet smiles, his sweet, red curls and most of all, the miracle of his precious life.

Lukas was born on Dec. 2, 2008. He is survived by his parents, William and Nina Carmickle; grandparents, Randy and Cindy Carmickle and Marie Smith; great-grandparents, John and Rose Ashby, Janet Pennington and Wilson Gibbs; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2011, and funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2011, at Gospel Assembly Church, Jerseyville. Graveside funeral service will be held 4 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2011, at Wolf Creek Cemetery, Eldorado.
