OBITUARY: Yolanda "Lannie" Marie Paul Kittinger
Yolanda "Lannie" Marie Paul Kittinger, 80, of Galatia, passed away 7:05 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, at the Fountain View Nursing Home in Eldorado.
She was born April 2, 1932, in Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada, to Armand and Ernestine (Tetrault) Morier. She married David Eugene Kittinger April 10, 1954, in Angola, Ind., and he passed away Oct. 28, 2002.
She was the owner, operator and secretary of the D & D Auto Shop in Muddy. Mrs Kitttinger was a member of the St Mary's Catholic Church in Eldorado and also the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. Surviving are two children; a son, David Kittinger and a daughter, Demerly Werkheiser; six grandchildren; and a sister Evelyn Davis. She was preceded by her parents, husband and a sister, Bernadette Capra.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. Thursday Sept. 6, 2012, at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Eldorado. Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at the Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia. Father Abraham will be officiating with burial in the St. Mary's Cemetery in Eldorado.
