Ambrose is survived by wife, Cynthia Hughey; children, Ambrose Kevin Hughey and Wanitta Hughey; two grandchildren; mother, Dorothy Hughey; and sisters, Phyllis Hargis, Deborah Love, Natasha Lies and Karen Cash.

A funeral service was held 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010, at Eastside Christian Church.
