Another successful Liberty Fest

The threat of rain did not deter the crowds for the ninth annual Liberty Fest.

The rain blew clear on Saturday afternoon shortly before the gate opened at 2 p.m. A large crowd had gathered by 3 p.m. and grew steadily throughout the afternoon.

Sunday saw good weather and an even bigger turnout for the Little Chapel Church's community festival.

The church, in association with many regional churches, businesses and individuals, sponsers a free, kid-safe festival with free food, drinks and events to allow parents to bring their kids to an event where they didn't have to tell the kids no to any of the tempting, tasty fun offered for their enjoyment.
