Obituary: Leona 'Lee' Kaid

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Leona "Lee" Kaid, 85, passed away April 13, 2012, at Fountain View Nursing Home in Eldorado.

She was born March 18, 1927, in Harrisburg to George H. and Grace Whitlock Oglesby. She married Billy Kaid and he preceded her in death on April 22, 1992.

She was a member of Star General Baptist Church in Eldorado.

She is survived by one son, Terry (Beth) Kaid of Carrier Mills; one daughter, Pat Kittinger of Eldorado; grandchildren, Alicia Kaid-Bugg, Holly (Ben) Wenzel, Tyler Kaid, Logan Kittinger and Alex Kittinger; and three great-grandchildren, Levi, Cameron and Christopher. She is also survived by two sisters, Betty Keating of Jonesboro, Ark. and Iona (Carl) Miller of New Johnsonville, Tenn. Also surviving is son-in-law, Cliff Jones.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lynda Kaid Jones; three brothers, Ralph Oglesby, Wendell Oglesby and Glen Oglesby; and two sisters, Neva Clark and Virginia Baker.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2012, at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado with burial in Lindale Cemetery. Visitation was from 12 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado was in charge of the arrangements.
