SHOWCASE EXPO

The Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities (CEO) Class will hold a media event January 22 at the Red Bud VFW from 8 a.m. to 9 am. The session will highlight CEO's Showcase expo.

"We're holding the expo on Saturday, February 6, at the shooting complex," said Anthony Mixon, class marketing director. "We want to highlight the Randolph County community, and what it has to offer.

"The Showcase will emphasize those Randolph County businesses that have chosen to participate."

"The Showcase is a fundraiser that will allow the CEO class to raise startup money to launch their individual businesses at the end of the school year," said Patrick Rohlfing, head of social media.

Stephen Holiday, advertising manager, noted the showcase would assist in the creation of jobs.

"Raising the wealth of our community is all about the creation of jobs," Holiday said. "The Showcase will assist us in doing that."

The media event will also spotlight CEO class progress, and make the community aware of the advantages the program brings.

"This is a fantastic opportunity to meet the students, learn about upcoming events, and see what all the buzz is about," said April Nail, class coordinator.

The Randolph County Showcase will feature a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, and attendance prizes.
