Joyce Frailey

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Joyce Frailey, 89, lifelong resident of Shawneetown, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2011, in the Ridgway Nursing and Rehab Center.

Joyce was born in Dekoven, Ky., on Oct. 30, 1921, to the late James and Trudy (Dillard) Hodge. She was married to Adrian Frailey, who preceded her in death.

Joyce was a homemaker and always a pleasant and polite person. She will be missed.

Joyce is survived by two grandsons, Brian (Virgie) Patton of Shawneetown and Mark (Cindy) Frailey of Shawneetown; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Frank; and a brother, Don Hodge.

Joyce requested to be cremated and a graveside service was held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, at Westwood Cemetery in Shawneetown with the Rev. Jack Hall officiating. Cox and Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown has been entrusted with her arrangements.
